Dave's Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients
- 12 Jalapeno Peppers
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 lb Thinly Sliced Bacon
- 1 Tbsp SnS Triple S All Purpose Low FODMAP Seasoning
- 8 oz Shredded Cheddar
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Chives
- Brown Sugar to taste
- 1 Red Bell Pepper
Directions
- Get out the cream cheese and allow to warm up while prepping peppers.
- Wearing gloves, cut Jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and remove all seeds. Soak in cold water for 1hour to reduce hotness (or not depending on how much heat you want).
- Dice red bell pepper into small pieces and chop chives.
- Mix chives, red bell pepper, shredded cheese and Triple S All Purpose Seasoning into softened cream cheese and mix well.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture into the jalapeno halves. Make the cheese mixture level with the edges of the pepper.
- Cut the entire package of bacon in half to make half strips of bacon Take a piece of bacon and stretch it slightly and then wrap around the cream cheese filled pepper.
- Option 1 Oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and place poppers into the oven for 30 minutes.
- Option 2 Grill: Set your grill up for indirect heat and place poppers on the grill for 30 minutes.
- Option 3 Smoker:(preferred method) Preheat smoker to 275 degrees F and put the poppers in for 1.5 to 2 hours.
