This gentle-on-the-stomach sourdough stuffing is light, flavorful, and easy to digest, without sacrificing the comforting depth of traditional stuffing.

Ingredients

1 - 16oz package Jimmy Dean Sausage

12 to 16oz Sourdough, cubed & dried

1.5 tsp SnS Vegetable Base

1.5 tsp SnS Onion Base

½ tsp Thyme
-
½ tsp Sage
-
4 T Butter
-
2-3 C Hot Water
Directions
Brown Jimmy Dean sausage; drain grease.
Mix SnS Vegetable Base and SnS Onion Base with 2 C hot water.
Combine sourdough, sausage, thyme, sage, butter and prepared soup bases in bowl. Add more hot water if needed for moisture.
Spread into greased casserole dish; bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes, or until desired crispiness.
